Data & account deletion
You own your videos and clips. Here’s exactly how to delete your account and data.
Delete your account
In the app, go to Account settings → Delete account. This immediately disables access and marks your account and data for erasure. To confirm full deletion or delete without signing in, email [email protected] from your account email with the subject “Delete my data”.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile and login credentials.
- Uploaded and imported source videos, and every clip generated from them.
- Transcripts, edit history, schedules and API keys.
- Any social accounts you connected for publishing are disconnected; we hold no platform passwords — access tokens are revoked on deletion.
Timing & retention
Deletion requests are honored within 30 days. We keep minimal billing records only where required by law. We never sell your data, and we never post to a connected account without a schedule you approved.
Revoking platform access
You can also revoke ClipEmber’s access from each platform directly (TikTok, YouTube / Google, Instagram / Meta) in that platform’s connected-apps settings at any time.
